IN A SENTENCE... A lightweight hand iron coupled with a powerful steam unit that cleans itself. Ideal for: Everyday Use
ABOUT THIS IRON
One of Morphy's most powerful steam generators with 6.5 bar pressure on tap, it can output a constant 200g/min of steam which is enough to power through multiple layers or tackle even the thickest fabric.

Furthermore, a burst shot of 310g/min is available at the press of a button if you need a boost on troublesome creases.
The iron itself weighs only 1kg and coupled with the soft grip handle makes extended ironing sessions that much more bearable. An enormous 2.2 litre water means you'll probably only need to fill up once per session, saving you more time.
You don't need to worry about limescale damage either. This iron uses Morphy's unique Auto Clean feature - it basically cleans itself. Limescale is automatically flushed from the boiler - all you do is pour it away. There's no need for filters or cartridges to boot.

Power2400 watts
A higher wattage allows the iron to heat up quicker and maintain that heat during your ironing session
Steam200 g/min
Continuous steam output in grams per minute. Higher output = quicker ironing
Shot310g/min
A short, powerful burst of steam to penetrate deep into creased or thick fabric
Weight1 kg
Weight of the hand iron without water. Heavier irons can be more stressful on your wrist over long ironing sessions, but generally have better crease-crushing performance
SoleplateCeramic
A ceramic soleplate will give the smoothest gliding and best scratch resistance. More expensive models might also have a special coating for even better performance
Water Tank2200 ml
Higher water capacities will mean faster ironing with less time to stop and fill up, but can also increase the weight of hand irons
Cord Length1.8 metres
A longer power cord gives greater flexibility, particularly when ironing large items. (For steam generators this figure is the steam cord length from the hand iron to base unit)
Auto-OffYES
A safety feature that turns the iron off after a period of inactivity
Auto ControlsNO
Instead of the usual heat and steam selector dials, the iron will control steam and heat automatically based on fabric type. Some irons even have both traditional manual controls and an automatic mode so you get the best of both worlds
