The sleek purple case also holds a huge water tank - something of a Morphy trademark - that can hold 1.6 litres which should be more than enough for an entire ironing session. It can easily be removed for trips to the sink, or fill up via the filler cap without having to cool the unit down first.
The unit offers hassle free maintenance with its AutoClean function - one of Morphy's premium features. The iron will automatically flush out limescale to a separate tank for you to easily empty out.
In common with a lot of steam generator irons, the design of the hand iron means that it cannot be rested on it's heel - you must place it back onto the main unit every time.
Another shared niggle is that the cord storage could be better.
