ABOUT THIS IRON

Just about the most powerful hand iron produced by Tefal, it really does offer all the steam you could possibly need and is backed up by some great features to keeps it in perfect condition. Part of their premium range, made in France.

The inclusion of auto-off, anti-drip and fully automatic controls make ironing as easy as possible.

The MicroScale filter technology filters out even the smallest limescale particles ensuring that only 100% pure steam is emitted onto your fabrics, hence the 'Pure' branding.

Of course, as you'd expect from Tefal there is also a clever anti-calc system that collects all that nasty limescale for easy removal which is really useful in hard water areas that cover a large part of the UK.

While quite a heavy iron - tipping the scales at just under 1.5kg - it is not as heavy as some of its main rivals.

It is expensive too at well over £100, but do shop around as prices vary considerably. It is well made though just across the Channel in France so it certainly has a more premium feel to justify the extra expense. Hopefully this translates into long-term reliability (worth noting there is a 2 year warranty instead of the usual 1 year).
